Who Owns Your Roads: Who Pays?

The topic of roads in private communities will be discused at a forum to be held by the League on Wednesday, February 15 at 10:00 am at the Beebe Medical Arts Building 18941 John Williams Highway (Route 24) Rehoboth Beach.
Who Owns Your Roads: Who Pays? Did you know there are no county roads in Delaware? The DE Department of Transportation (DELDOT) is responsible for all public roads outside most municipalities - and subdivisions. If you live in a subdivision, your Homeowners are responsible for maintenance and snow removal. A panel will discuss how the system works, or not, and what requirements there are for subdivisions to set aside funds for future repair.
HOA Meeting Update
The next board meeting will be held on January 19, at 6:00 pm at the president's home. Please notify the president if you plan to attend.

Covenant Commitee
The covenant Commitee will be regrouping towards the end of march to discuss any covenant changes to review- at this time I am interested in pursuing a change in the covenants on having a spending limit of $1600 for the discretion of the Board anything over that I think should be voted on by community--if you have any covenants you would like the committee to address for this years vote in November pls let me know- Kristen O'brien K-10 ----k10airbrushtans@yahoo.com
