Willow Lake HOA Meeting January 31, 2025

The first meeting of the new Board of the Willow Lake HOA was held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the home of Jean LaMontagne.
It was unanimously agreed by the Board that our top goal this year is communication with our community, and making the task of being a Board Member as easy as possible. To that end, we agreed that we need a Willow Lake HOA dedicated computer. A discussion ensued as to whether we need new software. Luke reported he will tweak some of our current software in order to make reporting less cumbersome. Luke will research and recommend an appropriate computer.
Jean reported she contacted our new snow removal and common area contractors, Silverado and had them come back out and do the turnarounds. Given the scope of the storm, we felt they did a good job.
We discussed the website which still needs a few changes that reflect the new board responsibilities.
Ginny will now be responsible for managing the Community directory. She reported it has been updated.
Luke provided the Board with a financial report. He reported 11 residents have not paid their annual dues. A reminder will be sent out. He also reported that we need to find a tax professional to do our taxes as Kathleen Schisler is transitioning out of that role.
Jean shared general guidelines for Committees for Board review. The meeting was adjourned at 12:00.
