Willow Lake HOA Meeting March 21, 2025

Attendees:

The March 21, 2025 Willow Lake Board of Directors meeting was held at the home of Jean Lamontagne on March 21, 2025. The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m.

Jean reported she received estimates for the following: —$1,280 for repairs to the Willow Lake sign.

—$948 for the Backflow Preventor

The Board approved both estimates and Jean will contact the vendors and schedule the repairs.

Jean raised the issue of stump removal for the two trees we had cut down and replacement for the one Holly at the front entrance that was badly pruned by our previous vendor. She will get an estimate from Silverado for the stump grinding. We tabled discussion on the Holly Tree replacement for a future meeting.

Jean reported that Silverado included an optional service of planting annuals in the Common Area Entrance. Ideally this would take place in May. The Board will revisit this at the next HOA Board meeting.

Water testing of the lake is scheduled for late Spring and again in Summer.

Jean learned that the Millsboro Senior Center will no longer be renting their space out for our annual meeting. We will continue to research other options.

Luke provided the Board with a financial report. He indicated there are three (3) unpaid assessments. Jean will send out a reminder to the three households.

Luke is working on the Federal Income Taxes. He reiterated that we need to budget in the future for a tax preparer.

Luke is continuing to research an appropriate computer and potential software for the HOA Board. He will report his findings at the next meeting.

The issue of the Willow Lake Website being out of date was mentioned. Ginny will reach out to Robyn to get it updated.
